Ford Rotunda Reception

Located in the Ford Rotunda Center in Dearborn, MI, this feature wall is made up of 40 linear feet of walnut-veneered mdf slats. The client presented a mood board from which I developed three concepts. The final design depicts an undulating pattern that accentuates the rich depth of the walnut. The matte finish here allows the walnut to gently reflect the light so that the subtleties in the grain are enhanced.
